Hi, I’m Marci Woods — a lifelong entrepreneur and business freelancer passionate about service, solutions, and strategy.
Born and raised in rural Alaska, I developed a strong work ethic early on. Life in remote areas demanded community, adaptability, and a willingness to learn many trades. Some of my favorite memories include commercial fishing, camping, and survival training — all of which taught me resilience and resourcefulness.
In 2001, my family moved to the “Biggest Little City in the World,” Reno, Nevada, where I eventually attended the University of Nevada, Reno, earning my bachelor’s degree. After graduation, I followed my family once again—this time to Phoenix, Arizona—where I began my professional journey and founded AZ Assistant, a business born from my passion for helping others succeed.
Over the years, I’ve worked across diverse environments—government, corporate, and private households—holding both W-2 and 1099 roles. My career has included managing high-impact programs for the State of Arizona, supporting multi-state operations for national companies, streamlining licensing and compliance processes, overseeing luxury real estate and multifamily properties, and working directly with C-suite executives in fast-paced, high-expectation settings.
Since 2011, I’ve been fortunate to learn from incredible mentors who have helped shape my professional growth. My work supporting global business leaders, leading major organizational projects, training teams at Fortune 500 companies, and consulting for government agencies has allowed me to collaborate with exceptional people and make a meaningful impact along the way.
I’m grateful for every opportunity that continues to strengthen my skills and deepen my commitment to helping others achieve success.
